| We woke up bright and early, checked the checklist and were
off to SF International...thanks Tony!! The plane flight was top notch as ANA employees are very courteous, always smiling, and willing to meet your needs. The flight had great amenities too! Little did we realize that we were going to need them to stay comfortable on such a long flight. San Francisco to Tokyo's Narita Airport in just over 9 hours and on to Hong Kong International after a 3.5 hour layover. About twenty hours total. We met the Hostetters, Doug and Gretchen and their lovely daughter Stephanie from San Carlos (second go round for them) and three more families from Colorado on our flight. We'll be meeting the other 9 families very soon. Matthew, our CCAI guide met us at the airport in Hong Kong and he is very nice. He'll be our guide to the orient for the next couple of days. It's all coming together now..... In 3 days we'll have Lily in our arms... |
