| We spend a couple of days in Hong Kong and Kowloon decompressing
from the long flight and gathering ourselves for the experience of a lifetime. It's a
beautiful place on the other side of the world filled with great people, interesting
sights, stark contrasts and thousands of years of history.With the luxurious Shangri-La
Hotel as our home base in Kowloon we spend time touring Victoria Peak, riding a Sampan
between stranded fishing boats, and shopping in popular Stanley Market. A lot of
interesting things to see and do to keep us distracted for a bit ...NOT!! ...no matter
what we do here we're all grounded by the fact that we'll be getting our daughters very
soon. After all is said and done we're back at the airport anxiously waiting for Gotcha
Day. Another flight after a long delay and the simple sight of a crib in our room gives us
reason to not sleep. We're almost there! In a matter of hours we'll have Lilyana Ya Ying in our arms... |
