At last, lovely little Lilyana is in our arms. The joy of unconditional love is about to unfold. As much as we are here for her, she is here for us. To teach us new lessons about life and about finding ourselves.

Gotcha Day - Tuesday, June 8th, 2004

This is it! The day we get our baby. We've been waiting over 20 months for this. As soon as we get her we know that our feelings of frustration and impatience will all melt away and just be part of her wonderful story. It's been a very moving experience being able to do it with a group of others. People from different parts of the country, different backgrounds, differents denominations all brought together by a common thread. The love of children and the desire to share their lives to better someone else's. That thread will probably keep some of us in touch for a long time.
