The Grand Sun City Hotel Our home for 7 days of our adventure. A 5-star hotel circa 1960's that catered to us, our crying babies and our crazy eating habits Oh yes...smoking is allowed in the dining room. The soy sauce cut the nasty soot on our palates.

| Changsha was our first taste of mainland China. Well actually
the pollution was our first taste but the sights and sounds and people were glorious. A
city with a population of over 1 million with approximately 6 million in the outlying
areas, it is the capital of Hunan Province which is the home to our daughters. This part
of China is known for it's hot peppery foods and the girls were immediately dubbed
"Chili Girls". Needless to say the little lovelies spiced up all of our lives Lilyana...you're OUR little chili girl! |
