| The Kai Fu Temple Kai means "opening" and Fu means "blessing and happiness" The temple is - 'an opening for blessings and happiness for all who go there' It is the oldest Budhist Temple in Changsha. Our visit here brought us a sense of peace and a blessing for the good fortune of our daughter.

Changsha Field Trips |
|
| We spent most of our trip in Changsha and got to see many
interesting things when we weren't going to the children's hospital with Lilyana. She was
initially quite sick with a high fever and bronchitis. CCAI made sure everything went
smoothly and that our baby was safe and well taken care of. So after the first several
days holed up in our hotel room we ventured out with the gang to several interesting
spots. We're handling this page a bit differently. There are several links to different
pages. We took so many pictures of great things that we couldn't let you miss them.
Hopefully they can help you understand a little of how and why we gained a deep
appreciation for the people of China and their culture. Lilyana...you come from a great land! |
